Terms of service

Last updated 1 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and [Legal business name] ("we", "us"), the provider of School Planner Compass (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a school, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf; individual users must be of legal age or have a parent or guardian's consent.

The Service

School Planner Compass helps school owners, teachers, parents and students plan lessons, track attendance, grades and fees, and share classroom sessions. School owners may buy monthly subscriptions for the Private Tutor Portal (tutor sessions and live class recording) and the Virtual Classroom Portal for each school.

Accounts

Keep your sign-in details confidential and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. School owners are responsible for approving who joins their school.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add, such as lesson notes, records and recordings. You give us a limited licence to host and process it only to provide the Service. Do not record people without the consent required by law and your school.

AI features

Some features generate lesson plans and activities with AI. Outputs can be inaccurate; check them before use. You are responsible for what you enter and how you use the results. We may filter or remove content that breaks these terms.

Ownership

We own the Service, including its software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your subscription.

Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid month. See our refund policy.

Availability

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, or a security or fraud risk. When access ends you can ask us to export your data within 30 days; after that it may be deleted.

Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, death or personal injury.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will show the new date above. Questions: oyeronke@gmail.com.
